A recent survey of 699 residents from the Greater Darwin region, found that Territorians want action to protect our coasts this NT election.
Summary of findings:
• 86% of respondents said keeping our coasts healthy is vital for tourism and economic recovery
• 60% of fishers said the quality of fishing has declined in coastal NT
• 84% of respondents support investment in management and protection of our coasts
• 74% of respondents want the next NT Government to do more to protect the health of our coasts
