ABC News Darwin reports on the NT Government's plan to develop a petrochemical and minerals processing industry at Middle which could further degrade Darwin Harbour's environmental health.
The TV news story explains that conservation and tourism groups are calling on all of the NT's Territory's major political parties, who are supporting the development plan, to commit to better harbour management.
Adele Pedder, the NT Campaign Coordinator for KTECH, explains that "our concern is the lack of commitment to manage and protect Darwin Harbour from the different side of politics".
